Where: Windrock Shooting Range & Training Center, 720 Windrock Rd, Oliver Springs, TN 37840
When: October 4, 2026, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Cost: $250 Per StudentÂ
This class will be limited to 10 students and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Minimum Requirements to Attend:
- Basic Pistol Fundamentals
- Must be able to draw from a holster safely
- Must be comfortable with moving with a loaded firearm
Gear Required:
- Pistol with a capacity of 12+ rounds
- Holster (OWB preferred; IWB allowed; no sticky holsters; NOTHING unsafe; needs to attach to a belt for this class)
- 3-6 Magazines
- Magazine pouches to hold a minimum of 2 spare magazines on person
- STURDY BELT required – must be able to hold up a loaded holstered pistol and two fully loaded magazines

- Tac Reloads and Speed Reloads

- Moving with a Loaded Firearm
- Drawing From Your Method of Carry

What You Will Need to Bring:
- Proper Hearing Protection
- Proper Eye Protection (ANSI Safety Glasses Recommended)
- 300-400 Rounds of Ammunition (We recommend shooting 9mm for this class)

About the Instructors:
Kenzie Fitzpatrick
Kenzie Fitzpatrick is a two-time graduate of Florida State University, where her competitive shooting career also began. She made the pistol team in college and began competing in GSSF, Steel Challenge, and USPSA shooting sports. She began instructing at 21 years old and has been responsible for hundreds of students who now have a license to carry concealed. She’s since competed in 3-Gun, AK competitions, PRS, NRL22, cowboy action, and more. She’s a published writer in the industry and an avid hunter. When she’s not shooting or hunting, she’s somewhere exploring with her Tundra.
Neil Vermillion
Originally from Alaska, Neil joined the US Army and spent 6 years on active duty with multiple combat deployments to Iraq. He then transitioned into the private sector, spending the next 13 years training and advising foreign military units overseas. Neil got into competitive shooting in 2017, starting with 2-gun, then progressing to 3-gun, USPSA, and PRS.
